Puzzle to the Center of the Earth is an intriguing mix of a match-three puzzler and a simple platformer that's set to hit the App Store this Thursday.

The game sees you playing an intrepid explorer delving into the depths of the earth.

Strangely enough, the rocks under his feet are actually brightly coloured blocks, and you can get rid of them by connecting them in groups of three.

You clear space for your little avatar, then send him scuttling through the gaps you've created to plunder treasure.

You only have a set amount of energy in your matching machine each level, but you can collect more by smashing blocks with glowing green gems in them.

Gold gems get you extra currency to spend in the shop.

AFK Cats is a cute looking idle game where you command an army of cats - or should that be cat-alion? - dressed in steampunk attire. It originally launched on iOS last month. The feline-centric idle RPG has now made its way over to iOS and it's available now.

If you're a fan of idle games as well as cats, or just animals in general, this might be the purr-fect – I'm so sorry – game for you. In AFK Cats you'll be creating a team of steampunk loving kittens to fight against Doomba, an evil vacuum cleaner. The only logical foe to a cat, naturally.
If you like AFK Cats, you'll love AFK Arena! In case you test it, take a look at the tier list we made!
Of course, with this being an idle game a lot of the fighting and grinding can be done when you're, well, AFK. Materials, new equipment and weapons will all be gathered in battles your feline army will do while you're not playing the game.
brewbakersrestaurant.comDominate islands Mod Dominate islands v 3 Mod Features:Enter the game to give a lot of moneyBuild up you resources raid other islands and defeat all the enemies

Daedalic's Stone Age adventure game Fire: Ungh's Quest has fell over a stone and landed its big unshaven face on iOS.

Yes, it's out right now, and you can nab it for the price of a sea conch and a woolly mammoth coat. Er, in modern terms, that's £2.99 / $3.99.

The game has you playing as a neanderthal called Ungh who falls asleep during his duty ensuring the village's fire stays alight.

It goes out and he's forced to head out into the dangerous world to find more fire. This involves meeting a range of brutish cartoon beasts and getting himself into a lot of clumsy trouble.

Afterburn's gorgeous, inventive inbento was one of the real standout puzzlers of 2019. It sees you preparing cute lunch boxes, inspired by bento cuisine, while enjoying a sweet tale about parenthood.

Much like the team's previous title, Golf Peaks, it starts simply before layering its gameplay with neat ideas and brain-teasing challenges. Solving its many hand-crafted recipes is a real treat for fans of the genre, and it's all so incredibly polished, boasting a minimalist art style and elegant controls.

Inbento's free 2.0 update adds two new worlds to work your way through, bringing the total number of levels to over 120. More vignettes, music, achievements, and mechanics have also arrived to keep the experience fresh. You'll now be able to repaint groups of blocks, adding an extra level of challenge and depth to the already excellent puzzling. A quick word of warning, though: Afterburn reckons some of the new puzzles are among the hardest they've ever designed.

Pokemon Sun and Moon are the most popular of Nintendo's titles to hit the UK and the most pre-ordered game in its history...and now it's official that they've now broken another of Nintendo's personal records.

Twenty years after Pokemon Red and Blue released into the world, Sun and Moon has wiped the floor with its sale figures, coming in at a whopping 3.7 million copies in America in just a fortnight. If that doesn't deserve an 'oh my god' I don't know what does.

The latest report by Nintendo states: "In less than two weeks, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems sold a combined total of 3.7 million units. That's an 85 percent increase over Pokemon X and Pokemon Y – the previous record holders for Nintendo's fastest-selling games – during the same period when those games launched in 2013."

Sales in Europe and Japan have been equally as exceptional, pushing nearly half a million in the UK, 1.5 million in Europe, and 1.9 million in Japan.

It'll be interesting to see the reports after the holiday period is over and whether this was a huge jump in sales due to the hype, or whether figured will remain steady as 2017 commences.

Considering its rumoured Switch-exclusive Pokemon game is still on the table, I think Nintendo may have a rather good year.

If you’ve been searching for a new match three game to keep your thumbs busy, your wish is granted. Jewels Magic Lamp is an addictive and easy-to-play match three puzzle with an Arabian flair, courtesy of South Korean developer SuperBox.

It's rare for Apple to announce anything before its big event for developers, WWDC, but in an interview with The Verge and then on Apple's developers' website, Apple has detailed some upcoming changes that are coming to the App Store.

First up, the apps that you have bought won't be appearing in the "featured" section of the App Store. This is a welcome change that was already in place on tvOS and that should expand soon to iOS.

Apple is also adding a new way for developers to charge for content: subscription in apps. While you could already do this for some categories of apps, developers will now be able to turn them on in any categories. This mean that we could see MMO-style subscriptions on iOS sooner rather than later.

This is especially important for developers since, if a subscriber continues to pay for more than a year, it'll split the revenue 85/15 for the developer against the normal 70/30 that's currently applied everywhere.

Between now and this fall, Apple will also start rolling out ads in your search results. We don't know how they'll appear or how obnoxious they'll be but I'm not too fond of that change even if it's not going to be that much of an issue.

These are rather big changes in Apple's App Store and I'm sure we'll hear about that and more next week at WWDC. Stay tuned.
